Breakfast is the first meal of the day that you consume after at least a 6-8 hrs pause due to the night’s sleep. The energy generated by dinner has already been exhausted & now your body needs to recharge in the form of breakfast.  

To kick start your day with a positive attitude & better concentration on your work, it is necessary that you should give ample importance to your breakfast. Recent research shows that nearly 50% of the total population in India either intentionally or unintentionally skips breakfast. Even those who have breakfast, a good majority of them have oily & high-calorie snacks in it.

Here, we will discuss some healthy, low-carb and nutritious breakfast Ideas. These dishes are primarily cooked in Indian kitchens and they can be great options to make your day more productive:

Muesli or Granola mix

It is a good option as you just need to add milk and chopped fruit with it to make it more nutritious. It is recommended to add dry fruits & nuts to make it crunchier & healthier.

It is recommended to take only 1/2 cup or 3/4 cup of Granola mix or Muesli (40-65 grams) in your breakfast.

If you want something to be prepared with bread, then a cheese spring sandwich is a great option. Stuffed with cheese and spring onion, it is both mouth-watery and nutritious.  

You can stuff your sandwich with cucumber slices and chopped cabbage stripes to make it delicious and nutritious at a the same time.

Rather than using white bread, you can have brown bread as it is low in calories.
